The book covers the itinerary I developed for a 3 week trip to Nepal. This itinerary includes trekking to Everest Base Camp and then some serious boutique luxury at the end! After spending 3 weeks in Nepal and doing the trek there were quite a few things that I would have done differently! So after my 3 week itinerary I list exactly what I would have changed - with links to help - and what I would recommend you do differently for the best possible trip to Nepal.Next up is the all important Everest Base Camp Trek Packing Guide. This is a serious packing trip! I made an EXACT list of literally everything I took with me so I could share it with you. I have included clothing and toiletries as well as packing great like the backpack I took, boots, walking poles, all my electronics - from cameras to chargers.Next up is a day by day guide to the Everest Base Camp trek. The trek varies massively day by day in terms of difficulty level and accommodation. Hopefully, this guide will help you prepare and manage your expectations for what the trek will be like. Then it is on to everything you need to know about the Everest Tea Houses. When I was preparing for my trek I couldn't find any decent information on what it was actually like at the Tea Houses including facilities. So, again, I took detailed notes and lots of photos! I cover exactly what the food is like with photos. Importantly I include where there are showers, how they work, and how to best use or not use them. Then there are the rooms which are not exactly boutique hotel-esque! Most importantly I update you on the options available for charging devices! Once you get back to Kathmandu head to its best boutique hotel! A full review is included in the book. Then enjoy the more luxurious side of Kathmandu. Find out the best places to to go for good photos as well as some shopping tips. Finally, really relax with a visit to a spa retreat in the Himalayas! Enjoy unique treatments, great food, amazing views and a complete luxury recovery from your time in Nepal!
