It focuses on questions about the historical changes in medieval libraries and individual codices during the course of their history. The static aspect of libraries and manuscripts is offset by dynamic and structural changes, such as inventory changes, glosses, re-ordering, and the like. Contributions deal with, among others, the cathedral libraries in Hildesheim and Halberstadt, the scriptorium of the monastery at Arnstein, the Hebrew fragments in the municipal library of Trier, and Ekkehard V. as reader in the library of the St. Gallen monastery. German text. German Description: Der vorliegende Tagungsband dokumentiert die Ergebnisse des 3. Trierer Bibliotheksworkshops vom 19./20. Juni 2009. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Fragen nach den historischen Veranderungen mittelalterlicher Bibliotheken und einzelner Kodizes im Laufe ihrer Geschichte. Einer statischen Sicht von Bibliotheken und Handschriften werden Phanomene ihrer Dynamisierung und strukturellen Mobilisierung durch Bestandsveranderung, Glossierung, Neuordnung und ahnlichem mehr entgegengehalten. Die Beitrage beziehen sich u. a. die Dombibliotheken von Hildesheim und Halberstadt, das Skriptorium von Kloster Arnstein, die hebraischen Fragmente der Stadtbibliothek Trier oder Ekkehard IV. als Benutzer der Klosterbibliothek von St. Gallen.
